Paystand now supports up to two custom columns in the Open Invoices view of Checkout V5. This enhancement gives you greater control over the information displayed to your payers—making it easier to highlight key invoice details that align with your business needs.
What’s New
You can now define up to two custom columns to display fields such as:
- Invoice Date
- Project Code
- Internal Reference Numbers
- PO Numbers
- Any other metadata available in your system
These columns will appear alongside the standard system-defined fields (e.g., Invoice Number, Amount Due). If no custom fields are configured, the Open Invoices view will default to the standard layout.
How Custom Columns Display
- If one or both custom columns are configured, they will appear alongside existing system-defined columns (e.g., Invoice Number, Amount Due).
-
If no custom columns are defined, the Open Invoices view will retain its default layout.

Examples
Merchants often configure custom columns to display details that matter most to their payers:
- Scenario A: Display Project Code and Job Site for construction companies
- Scenario B: Show Invoice Date and PO Number for manufacturers or suppliers
