Paystand merchants using NetSuite can now allow their payers to download invoice PDF documents directly within the Checkout V5 experience. This new capability improves transparency and enables payers to keep better records.
This feature will automatically display download icons or buttons next to invoices. This allows payers to quickly download their invoice as a PDF directly from the Checkout Experience.
Requirements
- Your NetSuite account must be on bundle version 2.33.14 or higher
- The invoice PDF file must be under 5MB in size
Downloading Invoice PDFs
1. Multi-Invoice Checkout
When a payer selects multiple invoices, a download icon appears next to each invoice amount. Clicking the icon will instantly download the corresponding PDF.
2. Single Invoice Checkout
If only one invoice is selected, a Download Invoice PDF button appears in the payment summary panel.
Things to know
- PDFs download immediately in the browser
- No setup is required if your bundle version is correct
- If an invoice lacks a PDF or the file is over 5MB, the download option won’t appear
- Applies only to invoices synced from NetSuite with a valid PDF attached
