Managing Customer Comments: Add, View, and Pin Notes

The Customer Comments feature in the Paystand Dashboard allows you to add internal notes to individual customer records. These comments can be used to track follow-ups, flag important information, or share context across teams.

To keep key details easily accessible, you can also pin a comment to appear at the top of the customer record. This ensures your most important notes are always visible when viewing that customer’s profile.

In this article, you'll learn how to add, view, and pin comments directly from the Customers tab in the Dashboard.

Important considerations

Once a comment is added to a customer record, it cannot be edited or deleted. Make sure notes are accurate before saving.

Adding a comment

1. Click Customers

2. Select the customer you'd like to add a comment to

3. Select the Add a comment for this customer box to add your comment.

4. Your comment will be saved to the customer profile.

Adding a Pin to a comment

1. You can also pin a comment to the top of the customer record in the Paystand Dashboard. Simply select the comment you'd like to pin.

2. Click Pin to confirm
