Set up account labels in Sage Intacct

Account labels combine a GL account number and a dimension into a single identifier. Instead of entering both fields separately, merchants can assign a predefined string that represents the account and dimension together.

  • Account labels must be predefined in Sage Intacct
  • Only specific GL accounts can be used as labels in Paystand
  • If a box is not checked in the Paystand Dashboard, the system will treat the entry as a regular GL account

Set up account labels

1. To activate them in the Paystand Dashboard, navigate to the Integrations tab

2. Click Connect To Sage Intacct

3. Choose one of the available GL accounts to use as an account label:

  • Discounts

  • Convenience fees

  • AR advances

4. Enter the string or word to represent the selected account label

  • If the box is checked, the account is treated as a label

  • If the box is not checked, the account remains a regular GL account

  • Transactions mapped with labels will sync into Sage Intacct with the correct account and dimension automatically

  • Label setup only needs to be done once; updates must be managed in Sage Intacct
