Understanding the Balances Tab in the Paystand Dashboard

The Balances tab on your Paystand Dashboard provides a clear view of your available, pending, and current balances over a period of time.

Balance Categories

  • Available:
This represents the amount of money you have that is fully cleared and available for transfer or withdrawal.

  • Pending:
This reflects payments that have been posted but are still waiting to clear. These funds are not yet available.

  • Current:
This is the total sum of your Available and Pending balances.

Transaction Terms

You’ll see the terms In, Out, and Net associated with each balance type:

  • In: Money coming into the account (positive activity, increases the balance).

  • Out: Money going out of the account (negative activity, decreases the balance).

  • Net: The result of "In" minus "Out" — representing the overall change.

Example

In this example:

  • Available Ending = $104,265.50

  • Pending Ending = $17,006.00

  • Current Ending = $104,265.50 + $17,006.00 = $121,271.50

Thus, the Current Ending represents the full amount (available + pending).

Filters in the Balances Tab

Among the filters available in the Balances tab, you’ll find one called ACH Credit:

  • ACH Credit:
This filter refers specifically to ACH Push payment types.
Unlike standard ACH payments — which are initiated by the merchant to pull funds from the payer and are included under the Bank filter — ACH Push payments are initiated by the payer to push funds to the merchant.

Use this filter if you want to isolate incoming ACH transfers that were sent by the payer rather than pulled by your business.
