Why is there a delay from the time we get check info from CPI until the time the payments process?

At times, CPI has errors when processing checks, there is a need to fix them manually, slowing down the process.
In other occasions, the process has manual interventions hindering the natural flow of the payment.
Also, an error in a payment included in the transfer report can block all the payments, with only one payment with an error, the other payments will be blocked.
